N8 Carter is a self built, Long Beach native rapper that has more to offer than meets the eye. Born on March 25, 1994 to single mom, Carolyn N. he learned at a young age the epitome of hustle. Not only is he a talented rapper, N8 Carter is an actor, performer, producer, and dancer. Growing up with two sisters and a single mom, hard work and dedication was nothing short of his reality. It was all thanks to his mom who immersed him to the life of a young actor where N8 learned of his full potential and his love for the arts.

With the start of acting, N8 Carter got to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood- Denzel Washington, Eddie Muphy, Morris Chestnut, Tahraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Kat Deluna,

and so many others. This was just the beginning to sparking N8’s interest and it was seeing the work of some of these greats that motivated him to work with the best and eventually even be one of them.

After years of being in the industry, N8 Carter discovered that acting wasn’t enough and his heart wanted more. He began noticing his love for music and began his life as a dancer. And even this opened up so many more doors and brought in the opportunities he thought he could only dream of. He began traveling all over America and Canada doing shows, expanding his experiences and the different artists he was able to work with and it was then he realized this was just the beginning because this only made him want more. He then realized he didn’t just want to dance anymore, he wanted to be the one behind the music. At the young age of 14, Carter dedicated himself to not only a dancer, and actor, but now an artist.

Becoming a rapper/ song writer he soon found a new challenge for himself at a young age. He found out songwriting was more than something he was naturally just good at; Carter realized telling his stories, writing rhymes, and producing concepts that most people loved was what he could truly thrive in and dedicate the rest of his life too. As his skills began to improve and became more invested, N8 Carter looked to Kanye West as one of his biggest influences. It was Kanye’s swagger and production abilities and his work of "My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy" that made Carter want to be more then just a rapper. This album influenced N8 to be an producer, sound engineer, rapper, song writer, a real artist.

It was thanks to those around him and the hard work he put in that made him realize his life was meant to be dedicated to everything music. It was because of the love for music N8 Carter is everything he set himself out to be.
